Congratulations to Italy and the guys @_GIFN. Gutted to have lost out but the players can hold their heads high and we will come back stronger for the World Cup next year #ENGvITA
ICYMI | A tactical breakdown of what to expect from tonight's EURO 2020 opener, as Italy take on Turkey at the Stadio Olimpico.

Great to have got back to some writing for @_GIFN, analysing AC Milan's new signing Mike Maignan. The goalkeeper had an excellent season for Lille last season but will he be able to replicate this in the shadow of the departing Gianluigi Donnarumma? Early signs look positive.
Milan's new goalkeeper has had an impressive season for Lille - keep an eye out tomorrow for GIFN's breakdown of what Maignan offers to the Rossoneri compared to Gianluigi Donnarumma.
With Demiral missing out on a starting place in tonight's fixture (despite key defender De Ligt currently isolating) surely this spells the end of the Turkish international's time in Turin? In my recent article for @_GIFN, I speculate why this is the case.

Crazy it was only just over six months ago that Ndombele looked as if he would be frozen out of Spurs by Mourinho and sold in the summer window. Hopefully now everybody can accept his undeniable talent.
@visse264 Like I said, he is still quite raw in some aspects of his game, but I would find it difficult to say that there isn't the potential for him to become a defender at the top level of the game. Just needs the game time to flourish.
Merih Demiral is currently struggling for minutes at Juventus. In this article, I try to unpick why this is the case, and contemplate whether a move away from Turin (whether that be temporary or permanent) is the sensible decision for the Turkish international.

@visse264 Would have to disagree again. Yes, it is a physical league, but the majority of teams require technically skilled defenders also due to their style of play. This needn't be an issue though as Demiral is an accomplished player in this respect.
@Fuufinfs @_GIFN As they should be, Demiral is a fantastic option for Juventus to have in their ranks. However, his ability exceeds warming the benches for them the majority of the time. He should definitely be looking for a move, if Juve cannot offer assurances of playing time, like you say.
@visse264 I think he is still quite raw in some aspects but, with the attributes he possesses, I could see him living up to the hype. I would agree he needs a move away from Juventus for the time being though, to receive regular playing time and showcase his ability.
On a separate note, Potter is a fantastic coach. Perhaps hasn't got the results he would have wanted so far this season, but there is no denying his positive philosophy and the intricacy of his system. Just need a few correct acquisitions to bolster the squad. #WHUBHA
Undoubtedly, there are a number of other players that I could have used as examples. Hopefully, the three covered in the article demonstrate the diversity in which the position appears to be heading though!
Feels good to have finally got back to some writing! In this piece, I attempt to compare how certain Serie A players are contributing in the development of arguably, the most revered number in world football - the #10.
@franksidekick Undoubtedly another name that is making a change to the #10 landscape. Difficult to select a limited number of examples given Serie A seems to be a breeding ground nuanced players at current!
