Reporter, writer, editor, teacher w/ street cred. Green Bay Packers will always be back, Lake Superior will always be magic, true stories will always matter.
@johnemcintyre ps: To add to your list, maybe we take a cue from the terminology now used to describe homelessness. We say "this person is experiencing non-life."
@johnemcintyre Thank you! Amazing (irritating) how reluctant people are to say "die." A journalist, whom I don't know personally, called me a year ago for help with a project. The hang-up: She couldn't bring herself to say or write "die." She felt it was harsh and offensive, etc.
If the 2,300-plus texts that Mark Meadows "selectively" provided and they say what they appear to say, you have to wonder what he isn't sharing. https://t.co/Q9bjQ0Jd0K
Now Susan Meyers and "Everywhere Babies" is under attack in Florida. Apparently because one illustration shows two men gazing in love at a baby. https://t.co/8Rer61AGN2
Yes, yes, I’d second your recommendation highly. I went to the workshop three years ago. Learned so much from @JacquiB. Learned so much from fellow participants
I miss the deep blue desert sky and the gigantic cactuses
I’d love to go to the workshop on Madeline Island one day.
@chadstebbins Hey Chad. Chip keeps rights to his posts so reuse is up to him. You can, of course, link. If you repost in entirety, what we ask is that you include a line at top saying it was previously published in Nieman Storyboard, and include a link if you publish online. Jacqui
Sometimes it's better to just go for it. Consider doing that and joining us at a writing workshop Tanque Verde Ranch, at the edge of Saguaro National Park, next week. A couple of slots left in a small but energetic gathering. https://t.co/wWTBuEKxcL
We mostly learned and wrote outdoors last week, under the sun and stars of the Sonoran Desert. Nothing like it. A few seats left for next week's redux. Give yourself a last-minute gift and join us. https://t.co/wWTBuEKxcL
