Our fuel drivers are putting in the hours this long weekend to keep our farmers up and running! We understand the rush this time of the year and are doing everything we can to keep the equipment rolling! #harvest22#inthecommunity#fuel
#MeetTheTeam
Jaclyn Hunter is our Senior Sales Agronomist and comes to us from Alberta with lots of industry experience! Jaclyn is very involved in the farming side of the business as well and has enjoyed meeting producers out here! She looks forward to growing Delta's business!
ESN in action! 2 weeks post seeding, the Urea (46-0-0) is totally dissolved, and all you can find is ESN (44-0-0; polymer coated Urea) in the furrow! #investinthebest#ESN#fertilizer#4RStewardship
Have you seen your canola pop up and notice yellow "halos" on the plants? No need to worry, good spring growing conditions/quick emergence causes the seed treatment to translocate into the plant which is completely harmless and will not affect the plants health! #themoreyouknow
We are live on location at the Kerrobert & District Agricultural Society 76th Annual 4H Beef Show & Sale. Surrounding communities gathering to showcase their projects that they have been working hard on all year! #4H#beefshow#agsociety#kerrobert#moo
We are live on location @NWTunity for #farmingforthefuture. We are helping the students in Unity build a stronger foundation of knowledge and understanding for what it takes to grow a crop and build a future of healthier choices!
Jeremy and Dawson are the masters behind the seed treating this spring! We are now full force treating for our customers this week and into next! #seedcare#seedtreating#growteam#growmore
We tend to focus on the first few inches of topsoil when measuring phosphorus — after all, fertilizer is applied to the upper soil layer. Read how the top layer isn’t necessarily where plants get the most phosphorus: https://t.co/IGOwykOZzh
What’s in your soil? In a year where fertilizer prices are at record highs, we have been busy taking samples for our valued customers. The second picture shows variation in the 0-6” layer in 2 separate fields only a few miles apart! #AgTwitter#Sample21
We are live in the field @NWTunity for #farmingforthefuture teaching the school aged students in Unity about what it takes to grow a crop! We are fostering the kids’ connection and building a stronger foundation of knowledge and understanding for a future of healthier choices!
The first soil test reports of the season are starting to roll in. These reports are from the same farm. Nutrient carry-over is highly variable. This really shows the benefits of soil sampling especially after drought for next years fertilizer recs.
We can still see some important differences in canola genetics no matter what the year looks like. Trial time is always exciting, even during #drought21 🤓
#DYK we love to run grower scale trials? Herbicides, fungicides, micronutrients, biologicals, and most importantly canola seed are all in our wheelhouse!
If you’d like to be our next cooperator, stop by and talk to one of our #GrowTeam members today!
As we take acres off, our discussion on the radio is how high fertilizer prices are into 2022 and the expected elevated levels in the soil after 2021 drought. Let’s get digging! @westernagNWSK. Contact me if you’re interested what’s in your soil. Photo credits to @jacmhunter
