A man has died on Tumkur highway due to a crude bomb explosion, but here's the entire story.

This person allegedly carrying a crude bomb booked an Uber from Bengaluru to Ankola. A woman was travelling with him. Near Sira, police say he allegedly held her at knifepoint and stabbed her. The woman reportedly alerted the driver that the man was carrying a bomb. Both she and the driver managed to escape from the car, but the man remained inside.

Moments later, the vehicle exploded in the middle of the highway, killing him on the spot.
