that's okay - i didn't know how to work a camera until i realised i'll need to make visuals for my music.

be bold.

start learning.

get messy and have fun.

just interviewed an artist on camera for the first time.

felt strange for us, but we dove in head-first confidently anyway.

we went out of our comfort zone and learned something.

now, on to the next experiment...

prove your worth to yourself by sticking to your plans.

in the moment, it's very uncomfortable.

but that's nothing compared to the pain of letting problems slowly boil over.

i'm experimenting with "documentary-style" content to promote music.

here's the plan:

• film the artist's life and process
• post the best clips as short-form
• create a documentary as long-form

covers all the bases for a great content ecosystem.

how i landed a job in the music industry (after dropping out of 2 universities):

• made cool shit in my spare time
• showed it to people (most didn't care)
• found someone who saw enough potential to hire me

instead of hiring a studio and a photographer, buy:

• a camera
• a backdrop
• a light or two

and learn how to take photos of yourself in your room.

it'll save you money while giving you tools and skills to use forever.
