A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A...

...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was.

His name is Gilbert Martin.

Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil."

Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC.

He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position.

Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil!

Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application.

He was 86 years old at the time.

He's been there ever since.

Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday.

He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him.

His official job is dining host.
Clean tables.
Clean floors.

But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is:

"I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that."

A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone.

And Wilmington noticed.

When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him.

Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire.

He says if you ever see him working, come say hi.

"I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.”

Another taxpayer-funded foreign professor celebrating the death of an American citizen and Senator of the United States.

Professor Ibrahim Zabad is from Lebanon. He couldn't contain his glee after learning of the death of Senator Lindsey Graham.

This is a professor at a Christian university, and an adviser to the university's Model United Nations program.

He guides and counsels STUDENTS on how to become better global citizens, that is, after calling Senator Graham a blood-thirsty bigot for Israel.

St. Bonaventure University in New York receives federal funding. A LOT of federal funding. Wanna see what your tax dollars were used for last year?

- Behavioral Health Workforce Project: $2.3 million.

- Center for Rural Health Innovation: $1.1 million.

- National Science Foundation (NSF) research grants for multiple professors: $ 1.3 million.

Did I mention this taxpayer-funded professor is from Lebanon?

This is what we've unleashed on American students. This is what the Trump administration is refusing to confront in academia. The Republican led House just handed the Dept of Education $79 BILLION in January.

We do NOT have the luxury to continue funding universities that employ academics who hate us. This is NOT academic free speech. This is murder culture and the celebration of the death of a U.S. Senator ON OUR DIME.

I think you missed the plot.
Then again, that’s becoming a pattern.

I graduated from West Point.
I went through Army flight school.
I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache.
I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad.

Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color.

Nobody lowered the standards for me.

Nobody looked at me and said, “Let’s check a diversity box.”

That’s what people like you don’t seem to understand.

Suggesting that Black pilots, Black engineers, Black doctors, or Black leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting.

I didn’t want a different standard.
I wanted the same standard.

And when you’re flying into combat, the American people don’t care what race the pilot is.

They care whether the pilot is qualified.

Merit isn’t racist.
Excellence isn’t discriminatory.

And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.

President Trump Just Revealed the Incredible Bravery of the Two Apache Pilots Attacked by Iran Over the Strait of Hormuz.

An Iranian drone packed full of explosive ordnance slammed into their helicopter, got lodged between the two pilots, and by the grace of God, it didn't detonate.

These warriors kept their composure, survived the crash, and held on for two hours in open water until they were rescued, for the first time in military history, by an unmanned sea drone.

Both safe. Both uninjured.
