It was great to speak with @HayleyHassall@bbc5live about our Rural Road Safety campaign (starts 3.13 in). No less than 18 interviews (most BBC) through the day - exhausting but the adrenaline of getting this hugely important message out kept me going https://t.co/TwGFRtMOJ2

@TheFreemanNews Is there an English translation, please? We are currently staying in Cebu with scheduled flights home to London on Saturday and want to know what the situation is with Cebu airport. Thank you.
We're now at at projected £36.5m for #StormDennisUK and #StormCiaraUk combined, across roughly 5,000 claims. It's the biggest devastation since Desmond in 2015 and our focus is now the clean-up and making homes more resilient to flooding
NFU Mutual’s claims costs for Storm Ciara could be in the region of £20m – almost double the cost of Storm Doris in 2017 which cost £11.5m

Shout out to our amazing agents and partners who've been parachuted in from all ends of the country to help in the most affected areas. They're visiting our @nfum customers, assessing damage and starting work to get them back home and back in business #StormDennisUK
Our teams are being faced by extreme conditions whilst out visiting those affected by #StormDennis, with flooding causing issues across the UK. Here’s agricultural loss adjuster @MaxwellPerris from @crawco wading through the water to help our customers.
Our network of over 300 local offices are out in force this week, helping customers hit by severe weather. We project claims costs for #StormCiara could be in the region of £20m with our teams still assessing the damage caused by #StormDennis.
Storm update: Also received more than 1,000 claims for #StormDennisUK so far, most for severe flooding, although not yet on par with Storm Desmond which cost £36m. The clean-up operation is a nationwide team effort - our 300 offices are out in force helping communities @nfum
Storm update: Our latest figures project £20million in pay-outs to our customers for #StormCiaraUK damage - almost double the cost of Doris in 2017. We've received more than 2,800 claims for Ciara so far (and counting) @nfum
Storm update: At @nfum we’re receiving more flood claims for #StormDennis than #StormCiara. Ciara predominantly caused a high number of storm claims across the UK, while Dennis has brought localised heavy rain and flooding, with new concentrations in South Wales and Herefordshire
#StormDennis has caused disruption across the UK over the weekend and conditions are still dangerous in some areas. Follow @metoffice for updates and stay safe.
