@Ekkin0x I would love to chat further with you about how seeing race or color is important for making societal advances, free free to dm here or on ig( same handle). I hope you reach out 👍

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@HarrBathtub @LoudSpaghet @iskall85 It looks a lot like black face especially coupled with the monkey comments. Really awesome he changed it!

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@bern_vich @iskall85 It’s not just one person unfortunately, many people thought so too. Also, I think it’s important to note that while it was completely unintentional, it can still hurt people. And it really looked bad 😬

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@Analton @captainothehunt @joehills @iskall85 Great!!

[Jade @jadelivinit]

Hi @iskall85 I really hope you take into consideration some of the feed back about your new build in the shopping district. I know it’s not intentional but it really comes off as black face.

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@iskall85 Yay!

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@captainothehunt There was def a monkey comment, I can’t remember the exact wording tho. I guess this is a good opportunity for kids to learn about black face!

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@ColorfullArist @FaintedFL @iskall85 Ya for sure, I think people in America are hyperaware of race rn (for good reason). But unfortunately black face also exists in europe

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@captainothehunt I agree. Also enough people instinctively recognized the build as blackface for it to be offensive (tho unintentional).

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@Analton @iskall85 @GTWScar We can’t forget about the dog catcher either!

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@Analton @iskall85 Maybe we should dm @GTWScar because he’s mayor of the shopping district 😂

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@Analton @iskall85 Tbh I don’t use twitter much either xD I tagged the @hermitcraft_ account and left some yt comments. Not sure what else to do, I don’t want to overstep ya know?

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@FaintedFL @iskall85 I’m guessing it’s a lot of young people who watch hermitcraft (?) so maybe they just don’t know 🤷‍♀️ This is a great chance to educate and learn tho!

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@FaintedFL @iskall85 Ya when I saw the thumbnail I went “😳”

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@hermitcraft_ @iskall85 Especially when this imagery comes with comments related to monkeys

[Jade @jadelivinit]

@hermitcraft_ @iskall85 Again, I’m positive this was unintentional. But sometimes our unintentional acts still hurt people

[Jade @jadelivinit]

The resemblance just really comes off as offensive (even though it was unintentional.) @iskall85 @hermitcraft_
