It’s hard to believe I’ve been creating fantasy football content since 2015.

It all started when a co-worker, who’s now one of my best friends, introduced me to fantasy football. I was immediately hooked. That eventually led to me posting fantasy takes and opinions on this platform.

Since then, I’ve written for a ton of sites, from RotoViz to The Athletic, and I’ve been at ESPN since 2021.

One thing I’ve always been passionate about is answering questions and giving people advice. Before transitioning to sports full time, I spent more than 10 years as a financial advisor, so sharing knowledge and helping people was ingrained in me.

I noticed pretty early that a ton of fantasy questions go unanswered. People are looking for advice and sometimes want more of a personal touch. Simply sending someone to your rankings doesn’t always cut it.

So I decided a long time ago that I wanted to be an analyst who was responsive and answered as many questions as I could.

The reality is, I can answer a LOT of questions. I can also talk for a long time. 😂

When I was a financial advisor in a call center at USAA, I’d spend eight hours a day talking. I can also type more than 80 words per minute while having a conversation at the same time. That skill has definitely come in handy navigating the Fantasy Focus YouTube chat and ESPN Fantasy Football chats over the years.

I appreciate each and every one of you who has been with me on this journey, from the early days to those who have hopped on the train recently.

I still have a few things on my sports media bucket list. I’d love to one day be nominated for the FSWA Hall of Fame, win an FSWA writing award and host my own show.

I’m getting to check off part of that last one this season.

I’m excited to be hosting Fantasy Focus Sunday Kickoff every Sunday during the regular season. I’ll answer as many questions as I can on air while also sharing my favorite streamers, sleepers, breakout candidates, fantasy nuggets and more.
