@Shaunjenks I am a tech head consumer and I struggle with charging my iPad Pro… I have way more lightning cables laying around than USB-C….
Moving everything to USB-C would be super convenient in the long run but it requires going through an inconvenient period.

@omosley Mmm I dunno… As much as it’d be super convenient to have a cable that charges all devices including non Apple products, I think iPhone users are much more likely to have a lightning cable laying around than a USB-C one.
