I’m honestly getting tired of all these “your iPhone Duo screen is going to break” comments.

The whole situation feels blown way out of proportion. Maybe 30-50 reported cases out of potentially hundreds of thousands sold.

I watched a brutal durability test yesterday, with water, coke, sand, and bending backwards with sand cracking inside, and Duo survived it all. Most owners seem to have no issues so far.

Can we stop acting like every Duo is about to break?

The more iPhone Duo usage I see online, the more I’m convinced only a handful of engineers worked on its iOS, yielding some nice animations but many UI glitches, bugs, and incomplete Apple apps. It won’t feel fully ironed out until iOS 27.2 or 27.3.

Third-party app optimization is understandable, but Apple failing to optimize its own apps is unacceptable. It should work out of the box.
