Sisters stab Detroit restaurant worker over wrong food order, prosecutors say

Brianna and Kierianna Long are now charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Brianna, who was 9 months pregnant when the alleged stabbing happened, gave birth four days before her arraignment.

Police said the stabbing happened on E Warren Avenue on May 30, just after 6 p.m. Prosecutors say after the sisters received the wrong food order from a worker, they argued with the employee, went behind the counter and began assaulting the worker.

Brianna and Kierianna allegedly chased the worker throughout the restaurant while throwing things at the worker. While the employee threw things back at Brianna and Kierianna, prosecutors said they picked up a knife that was thrown at them and used the knife to stab the worker in the stomach.

Prosecutors also said they tried to throw hot grease at the worker, and one of the sisters allegedly told the worker, “I’m going to kill you,” during the alleged assault.

@sherryp0124 I used to go pretty regularly until 2022. Injured my back (didn't realize I had a fractured T10) new chiro did the neck thing and broke 3 of my ribs. She never did x-rays before. I think my whole ribcage was outta whack - the neck thing did me in. Never again.
