🚨 STOP SCROLLING — THIS COULD AFFECT ANY CREATOR! When AI and automated enforcement systems make a mistake, a creator can lose years of hard work in a single decision. Many creators are raising concerns about YouTube’s “Spam, Deceptive Practices and Scams” policy. This policy is intended to address genuine spam, deceptive behavior, scams, misleading activity and similar violations. But what happens when the policy does not actually apply to a creator’s channel, yet an automated system still flags or terminates it? That is the serious issue. Creators spend years building their channels, creating content, growing communities and supporting their livelihoods. A mistaken automated decision can put all of that at risk. And there is an important question about “FINAL” decisions. Some creators are told that their decision is FINAL. They continue fighting for 3, 5 months or even longer — and in some cases, their channels are eventually reinstated. So if a decision is truly “FINAL,” how can it later be reversed? If automated systems can make mistakes, creators deserve a genuine human/manual review when their entire channel is at stake. My own channel is an example.
