Acceptance does not mean we understand everything, nor does it mean the pain suddenly disappears. Sometimes, it simply means accepting what we cannot control, letting go of what has changed, and making peace with what we cannot change.
acceptance isn’t turning a blind eye to what we see. it’s acknowledging what hurts, accepting that it is what it is, and learning to let things be. their life is theirs after all. we can care deeply without carrying the weight of their choices.
I will surely miss the way you both used to tease each other. The way he would tease you and you’d just roll your eyes, and how the two of you would laugh together. I’ll miss those little moments, my chogdray :((
two young hearts met too early, loved too much, hurt each other, and eventually chose to let go. now all that’s left is the question: were those precious moments only meant to become memories?
Lagi’t lagi, titindig para sa bayan at kinabukasan ng bawat kabataan.
I may idolize them way too hard, but never enough to abandon my principles. The moment our morals no longer align, I will proudly walk away. My love for good governance runs deeper than my admiration for any person. I can admire them deeply, but I will never worship them blindly.
baka dumating kayo sa buhay ng isa’t isa para maging pahina lang, hindi buong kwento. para may matutunan, may mabago, pero hindi para kayo ang maging wakas.

i think what hurts the most is the fear of losing them—not all at once, but little by little. i want what’s best for them, even if it means things have to change. i’m just scared of having to live with their absence when all i ever wanted was for them to stay.
i’m afraid they’ll get used to the distance. to seeing each other from afar, to being almost but never quite enough. it ended before it had the chance to begin, and i’m scared they’ll get so used to missing each other that they’ll forget what it felt like to want to stay.
