A wild scene unfolded on a Florida interstate as authorities say hundreds of drivers participated in an illegal street takeover.

Cars blocked lanes.

Burnouts in the middle of the highway.

Chaos until troopers arrived.

When police closed in, one green BMW took off and led a chase that hit 140 miles per hour.

The 25-year-old driver and his three passengers were arrested. The driver now faces felony charges.

Another reckless street takeover ended with serious consequences.
