the chain wars are hot right now
rh, base, bnb, solana all competing for marketshare. and these chain wars are only amplified by the chain agnosticism of apps like @fomo.
but let's not forget one of the main reasons why most of us are here: 1 sol and a dream.
solana was a place where dreams were born, a promise that a small position can become a life changing one.
and for too long now, solana has been plagued by extractive tech, and launchpads who kill tokens with exhaustive fee structures.
as solana season is starting to come back, let's hope that we can make memes great again, and bring back our hopes of 1 sol and a dream.
let's launch on https://t.co/K75he566zF
solana season is coming back, and you can feel it. capital rotating in, attention picking up, the trenches waking up after months of feeling dead.
but here's the thing. if liquidity is flowing back in, it matters more than ever where it flows. a wave of fresh money hitting the same extractive launches just gets farmed on a bigger stage.
new season, new liquidity, we need launches that actually let coins hold. that's the whole point of what we're building at https://t.co/CMhJXwTHCf.
the culture never left. it just needs rails worth running on.
if we're entering an age of chain agnosticism where new retail won't even need to know what bridging is...
what business does a solana launchpad have building a mobile app?
none.
pump's whole revenue comes from farming fees on low cap solana memecoins. that's the model. and the social layer of memes, as clunky as it is right now, is where memecoins are heading.
that's the direct threat. a chain-agnostic social layer pulls retail away from the low caps pump depends on. their eco is built on fee farming, so anything that moves people off that treadmill is an existential problem.
that's why they're scared. that's why the mobile app.
when a company and its customers have misaligned goals, the customer always ends up getting screwed.
and right now, we're seeing a huge misalignment between pump and the traders using it. pump makes the most when coins churn and nuke. traders make money when coins last. those goals point in opposite directions, and you already know who loses that one.
ansem io doesn't fix it either, it just launches on pump and adds another toll on top.
that's why we're building https://t.co/K75he566zF.
a coin already has to fight fading attention, sellers, copycats, and narrative rotation.
it shouldn’t also have to fight the platform it launched on.
no one can guarantee a coin survives.
but https://t.co/OiZdMnFLT0 can guarantee the launchpad isn’t working against it.
@ProofOfIntent definitely not competition… imo this is a straight up customer acquisition channel for pump. every launch is volume and fees flowing to them… just adding more beneficiaries to the same extractive model.
people think ansem's new launchpad is a competitor to pump. in reality it's a front-end that launches coins straight onto pump's rails.
the coins inherit everything pump coins already have: fees flowing out, thin liquidity, the same slow bleed. ansem just bolts an $ANSEM airdrop and buy+burn on top.
so the coin you hold still dies the same way. all that changed is who eats on the way down. used to be the dev. now it's the dev, $ANSEM holders, and ansem.
and the irony: ansem's spent months trashing pump, and now he's funneling launches straight to them. every coin through ansems pad is more volume and more fees for the platform he criticized. so who actually wins here?
we asked for innovation. we're getting extraction in a new coat of paint.
for those of you who didn't get the chance to read this article:
pump fun's fee structure means they make more on fees from sub 30k mc tokens then on runners past that.
this means for them, it is much more profitable for traders to be rotating in and out of dozens of low mc tokens, then to trade one large mc token.
in all honesty, it seems that pumpfuns model and what traders need right now are completely misaligned.

Believe went to 200m and was dogshit, failed to create any sustainable runners
Heaven dex ran to 200m and was also essentially a complete scam
GFM ran to 120 and the tech didn’t even work
The point is, market is always hungry for a challenger to step up and provide a new arena in launchpads
But what if this is the first time it works
I believe (hah I said it) that many culture coins paired with stocks/other coins will spawn off stonkfun
Ones that will be relatively here to stay and go on to be runners of this cycle
