🇬🇧 Royal Marines from UK Commando Force and 42 Commando joined Australian troops and multinational forces for #ExTalismanSabre25 – the largest military exercise ever held in Australia 🇦🇺, co-led with the United States 🇺🇸.

The exercise focuses on multi-domain warfighting, including:
⛴️ Amphibious & airborne operations
🔥 Firepower demonstrations
🌐 Missions across land, sea, air, space & cyber

In Sydney Harbour, 42 Commando honed specialist boarding skills, including a dramatic ferry recapture using helicopters and raiding craft. They also trained in advanced close-quarters combat in state-of-the-art facilities.

Their role is part of a broader UK contribution, with 2,500 Royal Navy personnel, 900 British Army soldiers, and 600 RAF members. HMS Prince of Wales leads the UK’s naval presence.

With 35,000+ personnel from 19 nations, #TalismanSabre25 showcases unmatched multinational readiness and cooperation across the Indo-Pacific.
