I thought u was going in for a regular MEI yesterday. Idk why I wasn’t thinking about the fact that it was for surgical purposes and it wouldn’t be an MRI I was ever accustomed to. What in the actual fuck was that? 😭 I swear i haven’t felt right since. 😐

So, the needle/IV was my 3rd clue and I’m still in confusion and in a doozy but, he’s making me feel so at ease that I’m just trusting what he’s saying. Meanwhile I’m texting my daughter who’s in the waiting room with my mom the whole time.

All in the midst he’s really nice and asking where I live and where I grew up. He asked my religious beliefs/ told me about a church his friend has near my house & I just thought he was so nice and it was clear he was good at his job and really trying to make me feel comfortable.

So, then he goes “ok Jessica. The test should take about 20 minutes. I’m gonna get your IV ready. You’ll sit for a few minutes until it’s administered and then we’ll be good to go”. Immediately I’m like excuse me what? IV? For a MRI? 🥷🏽 since WHEN?

So I said my breast are pierced. He said ok just make sure I take everything off an out. Then he said, how many surgeries have I had if any, how may children the regular questions. He asked of i anything else in my body, the IUD, implants, etc. then he said

So, I’m assuming he means metal because, I’ve had an MRI before and I know the rules.. So, my ass said .. yeah - metal. He said where do you have metal? I said in my ears, I also have to take my jewelry off and also in my chest. He said what do you mean? Lmfao

So then he goes - do you have anything in your body? Mind you- if you’ve seen the new #FinalDestination movie there’s a scene where a man is getting an MRI and forgets he had a METAL chain on …. 🥷 got shredded like paper smh
