One month ago, on this day, the lives of 17 people were taken at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. We gathered here today to show Parkland that we remember and we will not forget.

Heard the word โtragedyโ 100 times already about the school shooting - not really, by the classical definition: tragedy is fated and inevitable. This isnโt inevitable. This is America.
This devastating news has greatly impacted individuals throughout the nation. Our condolences go out to the students, staff and families that have been affected by this tragedy. Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School will be in our thoughts always.

In 80% of school shootings, at least one other person knew of the plan but failed to report it. The #STOPSchoolViolence Act (HR4909)would train students, educators & law enforcement how to know the signs and intervene to stop tragedies before they happens. https://t.co/5JgeXT0rJg
