This is a 70y old lady had a syncope during Tawaf in Hajj. Transferred to the mobile cath lab in the Haram hospital in 10 minutes. Echo done immediately and revealed severe BAV and angio was normal coronary. Transferred same day to King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah. Next day got the TAVI and the day after went to Arafah to perform Hajj which was uneventful.
We are setting a new benchmark in mass gathering medicine.

Alhamdulillah, on Friday night I had the opportunity to attend the “Sunni and Shi’a?” event with Shaykh @YasirQadhi where we engaged in a respectful, productive and friendly dialogue about the differences between the two schools of thought.

The atmosphere was amazing and the attendees truly felt the brotherhood between the scholars and their respective traditions. This event, which in some senses, was the first of its kind, was a monumental moment for dialogue and discussion. I pray it leeds to more fruitful discussions in the future.

Special thanks to Sh Yasir for how gracious he was throughout the session and thank you to NUUN and @dallas_youth for organizing the event.

I think it takes a great deal of courage to publicly acknowledge one’s mistakes, and that is certainly commendable. At the same time, an apology should be proportionate to the gravity of the mistake itself.

This apology makes no mention of Shias specifically and remains quite generic, despite the fact that Shias were accused of believing in the textual corruption of the Qur’an, the mass apostasy of the companions, and other serious claims.

The video never clarified what the alleged misinformation regarding Shia Islam actually was.

For that reason, Shias are fully justified in continuing to address and correct the misinformation that was spread by @yaqeeninstitute . Especially considering the video remained publicly available on YouTube for an entire month.
