Shameful Service by Ola Electric — Battery Dead Within a Year, No Support from Service Center
We purchased an Ola S1 Pro (TN24Q8628) in April 2024, and within just over a year and under 30,000 km of usage, the battery has completely failed. For the past two weeks, we’ve been trying to charge the vehicle, but the display is dead and the scooter won't respond, even though the charger is plugged in correctly.
Today, we took the scooter to the Ola Service Center in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, and to our shock, the technicians didn’t even inspect the scooter physically. Without opening a panel, they simply checked the system and claimed the battery is in "deep discharge" state and cannot be recovered, and to make things worse, they said it won’t be covered under warranty.
This is completely unacceptable.
> 🔴 There is no physical damage
🔴 The vehicle is still under warranty
🔴 The failure is a technical/design fault, not a user error
🔴 Yet, the entire cost is pushed onto the customer
Let’s be real here — what if a customer is out of station for a month or two and the scooter is left idle at home? It’s very normal for the charge to go down or even reach 0%. It is your responsibility as the manufacturer to design a battery system that can withstand such practical, everyday scenarios. How can you punish the customer for something that your engineering team failed to consider? People spend lakhs of rupees on your scooter — they deserve better than this careless blame-shifting.
This incident clearly shows Ola’s lack of after-sales responsibility and complete disregard for customer experience. If this is your idea of “service,” it’s only a matter of time before customers walk away — for good.
For now, I have left the scooter in front of the Ola showroom, Krishnagiri, and I demand a proper, fair resolution to this issue.
📢 To all EV buyers: Think twice before buying from Ola Electric.
There are far more reliable options out there like Ather, River Indie, and others who actually care about customers and own up to their product quality.
Ola Electric — if you want to survive in this market, fix your service, honor your warranties, and stop blaming your customers for your design shortcomings.
I left the scooter at the Ola showroom, Avathanapatti, Krishnagiri.
Keep the bike with you If you don't service it under warranty. Relieving let me know i will push it into lake or scrap it at the showroom.

@psabarinathan12 It is the responsibility of @freelancer to verify the user's account before assigning any task. It's unfair to let someone invest their valuable time, complete the work, and then deny payment on the grounds of an invalid account. The freelancer deserves to be compensated.
