@steeler_gang_6@XboxTimdog Gears Reloaded is there. And look now Gears E-Day isn’t there.
They’re using remakes to build hype for new mainline entries which then turn exclusive.
@vicious696@Colteastwood What if things don’t normalize and the only window or opportunity Microsoft has to get a headstart on a new generation is closed because they’re sitting there waiting?
@Grummz Gabe is already spending his time on a yacht, I don’t think anything will happen to Steam if he retires. If he sell off Steam to a bad company, yeah then things might get bad. But I assume Valve will stick around and manage Steam like they already do.
@xMBGx It’s a bad thing if it means that you have to buy new hardware, for only a couple games.
But it’s a good thing if it means that platforms survive, so the industry stay out of monopolies.
Epic, GOG, Microsoft are super important on PC.
XBOX is super important on console.
@MisterSpace3@WinC_Gaming She’s making a career out of being an ex employee. It was interesting at first but eventually you get tired of listening to her concerns, she pull different threads targeting different fans to get a wider reach and more clicks, it’s been clear from awhile.
@The_CrapGamer It would only show Microsoft that it’s not worth supporting PS5. Same thing with all this social media negativity. There are consequences to everything. If there is review bombings as well on Steam and Metacritic then bye bye multi platform Halo.
So, yes, great idea! 😏
@MisterSpace3 SlopStation
But maybe they’ll solve the low release rate of first party games now? Naughty Dog definitely need to use some AI to speed things up!
@gamer4life4@insomniacgames Or a mode for those who have consoles in the living room and have kids and don’t want to wait until the middle of the night to play?
@insomniacgames Thank you! Why are you so awesome?
Seemed like such a missed opportunity to have a cool new comics book game and then make it not suitable for younger people.
@Focusboss21 Steam is better than both so I’ll be there. I just use XBOX because I have a huge library of purchased games and a prepaid Game Pass subscription. Steam big picture mode and XBOX is like oil and water, they don’t mix. I hope Microsoft can launch a true multi launcher frontend.
@woggerman1974@godfree Yeah this seems like the most logical explanation.
Or the game is simply used by both Microsoft and Sony to ramp up player and subscription count for PR.
@ManaByte What if it’s about syncing of saves between platforms? Progress with Cross play.
Cloud saves aren’t free on PS5 so if Halo use cloud saves to sync the progress then a ps+ subscription is needed for all players on ps. On Xbox cloud saves are free so no subscription needed there.
I tried to break down Halo Campaign Evolved’s split‑screen requirement, and it’s still baffling.
Both accounts need PlayStation Plus, even locally?
Players aren’t wrong to be confused.
"Look, I'm excited for Halo: Campaign Evolved, and I'll be picking it up on both PC and Xbox. That doesn't change the fact that this situation sucks for PlayStation players, and I genuinely hope Halo Studios or whoever is responsible for this can address it before launch."
Let's get into it:

@Aragost24@DestinLegarie Someone mentioned a PC mod solution for another game.
Is it correct that local split-screen on both XB and PS require an online subscription?
Or is it only online coop on XBOX that require Game Pass? An MS account is enough for offline? Destin’s text screenshot is vague
