Maharashtra govt has decided to allow BHMS doctors who complete the Certificate Course in Modern Pharmacology (CCMP) to become eligible for registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council and prescribe modern medicines.
This is one of the most disastrous healthcare policy decisions in recent years.

If 5.5 years of MBBS education, thousands of hours of clinical postings, emergency duties, and a compulsory internship are considered the minimum requirement to independently practice modern medicine, how can a short certificate course be treated equal ?

Funny part is Homeopathic practitioners in Maharashtra are protesting to allow them to practice allopathy .
Indian Healthcare is truly going to Gutter !

The NEET Exam can never be leaked without involvement of Insiders !
To put the blame on students from Kerala and Rajasthan was just an easy escape to cover the Scam .

Even investigation by CBI won’t make much difference because they will again forget to file a Chargesheet on time like in 2024 NEET UG and RG Kar and the culprits will be free again .

NMC wants medical students to attend classes on a Sunday, the day NEET UG is scheduled.

Apparently, this will prevent cheating, as there have been instances where medical students have appeared on behalf of aspirants.

Some other measures they may consider:

Collecting the phones of all citizens, since phones have been used for cheating in the past.

Making a rule that no one will wear shoes on the NEET UG exam day, since in the past, students have hidden chits in footwear.

And God forbid, if they remember that students hide chits inside their clothes, one can only imagine what order they may pass next.
