After repeated representations from the professional community, the Tax Audit Report due date may eventually be extended.

But the real concern is timing.

Such relief should be announced well in advance, not at the last moment—after professionals have struggled with deadlines and even considered approaching courts.

Timely decisions matter. Taxpayers and professionals deserve certainty, not last-minute relief.
