@chiragbarjatya Blending directly affects RON. Current E20 blends are RON95, while E5 and E0 were RON89 or RON91. E85 is RON100. There’s no impact on performance, but the mileage drop and damages are evident. The government shouldn’t have mandated E20 as the base fuel.
@mishra_baibhav Frequent audits can fix this, but the new infrastructure cost will be huge. If mandated, they will have to install multiple tanks, or they could group them by sales channel.
@mishra_baibhav When petrol was E0, we paid the same price we pay for E20. How could they have made a profit from ethanol if they had launched E20 alongside E0? They would have had to price it cheaper.
