@DrugPolicyOrg Could you imagine that if money was spent on education and mental health vs a drugwar against users?
I get there's a need to criminalize the pusher, but not the user.
NEW: Florida pastor arrested after police discovered images of him r***ing a 2-year-old child.
43-year-old Jonathan Elwing was smacked with over a dozen felony charges after police made a disturbing discovery.
"He went into that church professing to be a man of God, but he’s really nothing more than a liar and s**ual predator," Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells said during a press conference.
Elwing allegedly used cryptocurrency to purchase disturbing material on the internet.
The purchase allowed authorities to obtain a search warrant where they found more disturbing images on his cell phone including images of him "in the act" with a child.
Authorities also found 10 "covert" cameras at his home and work which they worry he used to secretly film.
"I can't stress this enough: This is a monster. This is a man who went to great lengths to hide his true identity, to use whatever resources he could to feed this deviant behavior that he has," Wells said.

NEW: Video released shows terrified 19-year-old autistic teen Isaiah Trammell being taunted, threatened, and stripped naked before fatally injuring himself.
Trammell was arrested in March of 2023 after suffering from a mental health episode.
Trammell was begging for his medication however officers ignored his desperate requests.
"Let me out," he shouted as he banged his head against the cell door before being rushed to the hospital where he died three days later.
The police had been called by Trammell's neighbors after he spent the night banging his head against the wall.
When he spoke to officers, he said he was trying to "get rid of the crazy in my head."
The Montgomery County Jail Coalition is now calling on the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections to investigate Trammell's death.
