"I mean it didn’t make sense to us because he has an immigration court date coming up on December 23."
Her longtime partner, Franklin Arce, owns a construction company in North Charleston, South Carolina.
"He was doing things the right way because he's a family man. His children are his priority." #DemsUnited
This is really toxic, i understand there are cultural differences between China and the United States but pushing these kinds of standards has more than a few very toxic and potentially dangerous implications and cultural differences do not change or excuse that.
The problem of "communism is only good in theory" is that it isn't. For all its claims of being scientific Marxism is unfalsifiable. Historical materialism falls apart as soon as you read the daily paper.
@BadheadG@clara_de_lemon@PISSDRlNKER That's a fair criticism.
I would argue that for the sake of the video it's a necessary evil, but an evil nonetheless (art i guess)
Though i think we're also engaging a bit parasocially by assuming he didn't at least reach out (though we can't know either way)
@BadheadG@clara_de_lemon@PISSDRlNKER Isn't that kinda the point though? He Doesn't Know James Rolfe. The relationship is purely parasocial. Dan gets to project his whole selfe onto him and at no point needs to consider him a person. Tbf I could be very wrong since it's an age since i watched the video
@JadenHalstead@bacate68@wunsch_maschine@ColdEmpanadas 1. You are not the economy.
2. The seller can't subjectively determine the value of the burrito. The minimum he has to charge is determined by economic conditions (e.g the price of labour).
There is an objective value to the burrito which is determined by the economy at large
@JadenHalstead@bacate68@wunsch_maschine@ColdEmpanadas They both adress you're questions about productivity impacting the value of commodities. If you disagree with his assessment I'd love to hear your counterargument
@JadenHalstead@bacate68@wunsch_maschine@ColdEmpanadas A shirt is economically interchangeable with any other shirt. The production method does not make it a different product in an economic sense. So the value of both is still governed by the average necessary labour time.
This is chapter 1 of the book
@Metatro79454037@Hanasaku_Yuri Yeah but, being a tourist and using a ttrpg to make attacks against people they don't like isn't a big issue. It's annoying sure but nothing to get upset about
