🗳️ Welcome to The Election Notebook 📓
2026 elections, debates, ballots & political nerdiness.
Facts first. Sass occasionally. 🌱
📍 GA-10
Let’s get nerdy.
🌙🇺🇸 EVENING ELECTION BRIEFING
Campaign season is heating up, endorsements are flying, and the polls keep coming. Remember: polls are snapshots, not predictions. Watch the candidates, follow the issues, and keep your fact-checking hat handy. 🍿

Georgia governor race update 👀
Keisha Lance Bottoms just landed the Obama endorsement, two days after the debate.
Meanwhile, Rick Jackson is shifting his messaging away from Trump and toward the Brian Kemp model.
Two very interesting strategic moves right before early voting.
🇺🇸 GA SENATE: ECONOMY
Ossoff: Targets healthcare, housing & everyday costs; supports action on corporate home buying.
Collins: Favors lower regulations, more housing construction, tax cuts & workforce development.
📓 Facts, not spin.

26 DAYS until Election Day! 🇺🇸🗳️
The countdown is officially ON.
Research your ballot. Check the rules. Know your voting plan. And most importantly, take a breath. 😆
Touch grass. Smell a rose. Read the Constitution. 😂🌹📜

Finished the GA governor debate! I liked raising teacher pay, reducing teacher admin work, special-ed support, workforce prep, and making Election Day a holiday. Not a fan of Flock cameras. Neither candidate really answered the federal funding/job-loss question. Mixed bag.
🗳️ 28 DAYS TO GO!
Georgia election nerd mode: ACTIVATED. 😂🍑
I’m spending the next few weeks learning the races, understanding the issues, paying attention to what’s happening here in Georgia, and trying VERY hard not to lose my mind on election night. 🤣🇺🇸
Countdown is ON!
🚨 BREAKING: President Trump confirms he is considering SUSPENDING the federal gas tax
LFG! Do it, 47!
In reality, the gas tax should be ABOLISHED, but it's a good start! 😆
@nicksortor Billing Medicaid for services supposedly provided to a patient already dead feels less like “isolated fraud” and more like a neon sign that oversight systems are failing.
Eventually the public stops arguing left vs. right and starts asking:
Who is supervising these programs? ☕
“The vibe of modern American politics is reading constitutional theory while stress-eating snacks during a congressional hearing and whispering ‘this cannot be what Madison meant.’” ☕📚🏛️😭
@SymoneDSanders At this stage, it’s less “Georgia might have a governor named Keisha” and more “Georgia might have several months of everyone loudly pretending they’ve already decided… while absolutely no one has.” 😄📊
Currently reading The Pivot 📘✨
There’s something interesting about how strategy isn’t just about reacting to the world, but quietly deciding what you’re willing to become in it. This one feels like it sits right at that intersection of history, power, and choice 🌏🧭 #ThePivot
Tomorrow is Primary Election Day in Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, and Idaho. 🗳️
Georgia is the big state to watch as early 2026 midterm signals begin to emerge. Turnout, suburban shifts, and party energy all matter tonight. 📊

📍 LOCAL SIGNAL (GEORGIA) + WHAT TO WATCH NEXT
In Georgia: county-level engagement shifts and state policy movement remain key indicators.
Next 24–48h: court updates ⚖️, economic data 📊, and political messaging spikes 📡
🗳️ POLITICS + ELECTION SYSTEMS
The real action is structural: turnout modeling, district shifts, and early coalition building.
Most of what looks like “news” is actually long-term positioning for upcoming cycles.
