As much as having social media in the classroom may be a distraction, i think the benefits outweigh that, It allows students to have unlimited learning resources whenever they need them and will help them in a way that suits their needs! #gend1411 13.3

I think social media can be very helpful at supporting activism and advocacy, but it all depends how well the person who is raising awareness is at running their social media pages. #gend1411 12.1

The way i see how social media effected the 2016 presidential election, was both a good and bad thing. Bad as it allowed some of the candidates to get very nasty on their pages. Good as it brought out a lot of truth about certain candidates. All in how you see it. #gend1411 10.3

Yes, the use of social media by a political candidate effects my voting decision. A example, even tho i am not american is @realDonaldTrump. There is no way after seeing his twitter i would ever vote for him to be in. His page shows extreme lack of professionalism #gend1411 10.1

Bushiness are utilizing social media by doing Live Videos to show case products in a real life real time view. This shows clients the authenticity of the product without it being photo shopped. #gend1411 9.2

I agree with the fact that social media has allowed any citizen to become authors, editors and publishers of news, and as helpful as their information is, i believe the actually quality of the news has decreased as it is not coming from a trained individual. #gend1411 8.3

I have replaced the traditional news sources with social media. I check the news everyday by looking at the notifications in the "news" portion of my I phone as well as searching for daily news on Facebook and Twitter. #gend1411 8.1

@lrv4 I disagree. There is no right or wrong as to who social media is "for". If you want to use it for the people, great! That does not mean others can not use it for the business.

After completing our online identity assignment, i was pleased with the results. My online identity shows mainly the business information i have chosen to share. The one thing i needed to change was how many pictures of my son were shared public. #GEND1411 7.1
