Some managed the logistics to keep the machine running. And some were the machine.
Some rode on floating cities that navigated the high seas. And some flew metallic birds that cut through the sky.
Some did things that only a handful of people on earth will ever know about. And some did things that are widely known to the public.
Some spent most of their time overseas. And some never left the States.
Some sported long hair and beards and carried modified guns with suppressors. And some stayed in military regs, high and tights and rocked M16s with acog sights.
Some worked in the most unforgiving environments on earth for days on in. And some typed away on toughbooks in air cooled tactical operation hooches.
Some served for months. And some served for 30+ years.
Some wore suits or civilian attire while on the clock. And some wouldn’t dare enter a command without fresh pressed uniforms with paper-thin creases.
Some served just to get their college paid for. And some served to avenge terrorist acts that were carried out upon this land.
Some partook in operations that lasted hours. And some fought in wars that lasted decades.
Some lived to fight another day. And some made the ultimate sacrifice.
Regardless of what category the, “some” falls in, ALL of them raised their right hand and swore protect this great nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. And therefore, all are U.S Veterans who should be honored🫡🫡🫡
Thank you for your service. And thank you for holding the line.

Obsessed with this guy on the US men's gymnastics team who's only job is pommel horse, so he just sits there until he's activated like a sleeper agent, whips off his glasses like Clark Kent and does a pommel horse routine that helps deliver the team its first medal in 16 years.
LOCAL LEGEND: A kind man and natural-born leader – that’s how Ron Miller and Carl Pearson remember their late friend Jim Welte.
