Mixing play and the TENs program! Girls are rolling the dice (looking for doubles and friends of ten) and covering that many circles on their LEGO boards. First person who covers their LEGO board is the winner! This game is going down a treat 😃😃

It has now turned into an icecream shop. What flavour do you want? The shopkeeper is then measuring the sand with the spoons and counting how many spoons will fill their bowl with “icecream���.

Messy play in prep. We are measuring the capacity of different containers with kinetic sand and rice. The girls are loving it 💙

As part of our inquiry into capacity, we are running a guessing competition this week. The girls had their first estimate this morning!

Love Prep! Learning how to sort information in YES/NO categories. Instead of me asking the Q’s, they asked if they could make their own. They were so excited to see their questions answered and sorted by the class!
