@bopinion I’ve always said this. High school does not prepare students for college. High school should mirror college more so students are better prepared to transition to college if they choose that route.

@GovAbbott Cancel schools. Kids are not receiving equal education. Some school districts@online learning is not up to par and special education students are not receiving services for classes.

@redoakisd Please just make an announcement that the kids will switch to online learning for the remainder of 19-20 school year as other schools have and work on a effective online learning system for the high school. Whoever is charge of the online learning needs to do better.

@redoakisd how does ROISD expect high school students to effectively do lessons when you have to email back and forth instead of having the ability to video chat on a zoom classroom lesson? No one is even available on campus to speak to but the kids are in school. 1/3

This is ineffective instruction. The video lessons are not a full complete lesson. We should not have to sit for hours with our student to research ourselves to teach them and find supplemental video lessons to help them. This model of online education does not work 2/3
