@madd_the_sane@cry_even_hardrr@adammocklerr Some of it is that’s true. But it’s not 1 to 1. If tariffs are 20% on steel, the price of steel does not go up 20%. It will be somewhere between 0% and 20%. This is referred to as the tariff incidence and is heavily reliant on the elasticity of the product being taxed.
@BengalsTime@TheLastConvers1@evelynvwoodsen You probably max out a 401k, perhaps have an HSA that you put some money in, and also pay for family healthcare. The other lad who makes less gross with similar net may not be doing those things. I bring home about 65% of my gross.
@woppgetsbuckets@XaviercMiller@thewealthdad I’m sure you have phenomenal understanding of human psychology and how my experiences have led to brainwashing by a franchise that I don’t even watch anymore. Insightful indeed.
@ohhanxiety Simple but overlooked, drinks have calories too. Avoiding pops and alcohol can really help. I lost like 10 pounds in a little over 7 weeks by simply not drinking lol. I’ve gained a few back now though.
@mike_dimitroff @Brain_Sol_ @DrBullishHarami @RossRead Actually if you read it, he did not say that. Just in case you missed that I quoted him below.
“US no longer produces the best baseball players.”
A clear straw man statement.
@schellyeah_ @DrunkCoachBaker@TDAlabamaMag@AzzzWhippin If Bama went 9-3 and had a loss to OSU instead of a horrendous Oklahoma team they would be in the playoff. It seems that Alabama fans are having trouble understanding circumstance lol.
@JoshuaHinshaw2@4EverHoosier@_Sweet_Lew@aterry65 Ok. So you have refer to something completely unrelated to this particular conversation. Red herring fallacy lol. Never mentioned Nebraska or that they’re a good football team. Point still stands.
