@ttorres Instincts. How often are your hypotheses correct without the support of reliable data? These can (and should) improve over time as PMs gain experience
@gokulr Love this @gokulr. We did something similar in the run up to launching Square in the EU in 2021. These reviews became a venue to get signoff on key decisions and to escalate timeline risks on a weekly basis to mobilize teams and people that could mitigate them

@Carnage4Life TBF, there is screwing up due diligence by not asking the right questions, or examining the responses thoroughly enough. But when a company provides patently false information like email lists that are made up… that’s a tough one to spot pre-close

@shreyas I used to have a boss who coached us that every interview was an opportunity to spread goodwill about our (small) company. Make the person want to work here and feel excited by the mission even if they aren't going to get an offer.
