Disappointed in the @Starbucks#StarbucksSummerGame since the color choices for the game are hard to decipher – pink and orange are really similar. Ran thru a simulator and for some CVDs (color vision deficiency) the view is EASIER. Pick better colors! #a11y#inaccessible
@iamharaldur@OnnuJonuSon I know you released the song hours ago (been on repeat for me over here!) so no rush, but I'm eager to have access to the lyrics! Do you have plans to publish them somewhere while music apps "approve" lyrics (a lot of indep. artists I know have to wait a while)? Thx! #deaf
Great tips on how to conduct an inclusive Zoom meeting that ensures accessibility for d/Deaf and neurodiverse participants. By @jake_deh, whom you should definitely follow for additional advice. https://t.co/nnBfxUP7Rt
@taniakaras I felt for the attendant who may have had the menu on seat screens b4 (if so, why not now?) or in First Class (but not everyone has points or $$). They gave me a free drink though–which I saw in an ad... I've had attendants pull EVERY item out to show me b4 😂 which is inclusive!
Inaccessiblity on my @Delta flight as a deaf person: the food/drink menu in the Main Cabin was nonexistent in paper or digital format for my roundtrip flight 🧵
This isn't only for the deaf or hard of hearing. Everyone benefits from #accessibility. Flying with a disability is still discriminatory in 2022 (read up on what wheelchair users go thru). I know it's *just a menu* but it's part of a long list of failures in an abled world. /end
Point is, @Delta (and all airlines), I know the Air Carrier Access Act may not specifically say to make your amenities accessible, but it requires airlines to take steps to accommodate passengers with a disability. Please do better. /7
do you ever look at your dog and proclaim with your whole heart, “I would die for you”
then they look back at you like, “are you gonna eat that bread crust?”
