🚨 | BREAKING: New information reveals that Florida State has a STRONG chance of winning the lawsuit against the ACC...

FSU's lawsuit against the ACC seeks to invalidate the conference's Grant of Rights, which would reduce the buyout for leaving the conference to ZERO 😳

This would save the university over half a billion dollars, so it's clear how IMPORTANT this lawsuit is... now here's where the ACC really messed up:

In 2016, the ACC signed a 11 year TV deal with ESPN, currently set to expire in 2027. This deal also gave ESPN the option to extend the contract from 2027-2036 on the same terms financially...

ESPN had to decide by 2021 whether they would extend from 2027-2036, but ACC commissioner Jim Phillips extended that deadline to February 2025 in a formal amendment that he allegedly signed ON HIS OWN... 👀

The ACC bylaws currently require approval from 2/3rds of all members for any amendments, making this action by Phillips a VIOLATION. Legal experts believe that this egregious action technically invalidates the ENTIRE conference contract

This may be the smoking gun that breaks the ACC's Grant of Rights 💥

🚨 | ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit went on an absolute TIRADE today on Twitter, calling all FSU fans who question their team's exclusion part of a "despicable lunatic fringe".

In his 350-word manifesto about why the Noles were excluded, Kirk claims that Alabama, Texas, Georgia, & even a 2 loss Oregon team are all BETTER than FSU!

He then spent the other 80% of his post mentioning how Miami got robbed 20 years ago in the BCS, & claimed that he's always been a huge fan of Florida State 🤔

It's unclear what a BCS Championship from 2000 selected by computer formulas has to do with the current Playoff Committee situation though.

And despite what Kirk said, trust me Nole fans, you're doing NOTHING wrong...

Given the close relationship between the CFP, ESPN, and the SEC, it's reasonable to question the integrity of a system in which 13 people deliberate behind closed doors to select the Playoff participants.

And it's ESPECIALLY reasonable when a 13-0 team wasn't just excluded, but deliberately HOPPED by teams with worse records 💸
