@GQBound I'm not a good enough player for the sound differences to really matter but other than that, flatwound are more expensive but last a lot longer. You can feel the difference on your fingers if you glissando (round feels rougher) but it's not huge. And flat require maintenance

A lot of people who would purport to understand the replication crisis are still way too willing to cite one-off studies to prove their point. Most studies are crap, it's trivially easy to cherry-pick studies or experts to suit your narrative, finding the truth is hard.
