@ScabbyM@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ The real problem here is they’ve replaced footballers with marathon runners. There’s very few ballers now it’s mostly just people out there doing cardio sessions. Howe’s Newcastle one of the best examples of that.
@ScabbyM@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ Obviously I know both things exist but I just can’t use them as an excuse, if it’s an injury fair enough. The fixtures have always been the same and players have always played all the games, fatigue is only ever brought up by losing teams who won’t take accountability.
@ScabbyM@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ It doesn’t matter to me but it’s there as an option so you can’t use that as an excuse, you can’t have it both ways.
@ScabbyM@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ Of course everyone is saying that, what job do you know where the employees are asking for more work? Howe refuses to use his squad and plays a style of football where they can’t hold on to the ball for more than 30 seconds, that’s the bigger issue here.
@ScabbyM@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ I said they can play on back to back days no problem, my point is they don’t have to do that or anything close really so fatigue isn’t an issue.
@ScabbyM@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ They don’t play 2 games in a row. If a PL player can’t play on a Saturday and again on Tuesday I’d suggest they retire. Use some common sense instead of making excuses for professionals.
@ScabbyM@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ Because these are world class athletes, they don’t need to be treated like children. Fact is they can play a game today and play another tomorrow no problem, this recovery bollocks is a myth. You never hear about them being tired when they’re winning games.
@Sasha_Metcalfe@ScabbyM@henry_winter_ That’s optional. Serious managers aren’t giving players the day off after an awful performance, you might get the day off after a good win.
@LukeEdwardsTele You’ve been stealing a living for a long time. You claim to be a journalist but sit there asking Howe what he had for dinner instead of asking serious questions.
@Sasha_Metcalfe@henry_winter_ Nonsense. They’ll be just about recovered when they wake up the next day and in Europe they’ve not had any travel, probably averaged 90mins travel for the CL games.
