@jojipaindu@Libertyonebx@goddek So the Pharisee that was.. *checks notes* killing all the Christians made up Christianity.
I’m sorry you’re that. I’ll pray for you.
@Libertyonebx@GlenBradley@goddek Isaiah 53:8: he was “stricken for the transgression of my people.”
The servant suffers for Israel. So therefor he cannot be Israel. Also! he is guiltless. while Isaiah calls the nation blind and judged.
@DarthMongral@Libertyonebx@SifiReturned@goddek He’s made some good points. We’ve arrived at thee sticking point. Isaiah.
I don’t think he speaks for himself though.
As seen by the constant sharing of rabbi YouTube videos
Holy Spirit gives discernment.
You don’t know how to read any of my Bible old or New Testament.
You denied Christ and through him you get to the father and the word is of God. So how can you expect to lecture anyone on God’s word when you don’t have the discernment to read it?
You can say Torah this and Torah that and do all this and that, but you’re just regurgitating arguments others made for you.
Your alphabet changed and your history gives 3 differing opinions as to why. All of them contradicting one another.
All I know is that tells me nobody has a clue.
Your alphabet undoubtedly had a change.
Major or minor who’s to say.
But to sit and sincerely tell everyone that it’s unchanged since it was written is disingenuous.
literally none of that matters at all.
Just sit and read the entire Bible, the point gets across.
I don’t come from a sect that requires overt scrutiny.
I don’t need to be bailed out by the change of a letter.
It’s clear. Have faith in Christ. Everything else comes downstream of that.
You’re right that verse names the servant Israel. in the same breath the servant is called Israel and sent to Israel.
The only thing that holds both together is a representative who embodies what the nation was meant to be. You read that as a faithful remnant. I read it as the faithful Israelite, the Messiah. An ‘Israel-of-one’, doing what the nation couldn’t.
We’re closer than you think. We disagree on whether that representative is a group or a person.
@Libertyonebx@DarthMongral@SifiReturned@goddek I’m saying the original written form is no longer the form you are reading yes.
Not Aramaic, sorry.
But it’s not the script of Moses it’s been changed and you know it has.
@Libertyonebx@DarthMongral@SifiReturned@goddek Says who? Unbelievers?
Few make it into the kingdom of heaven. Just cause Mormons and Jdubs exist (and others) and they claim to be Christian and saved doesn’t mean any of them are saved.
So another moot point from you. Try again.
@Libertyonebx@DarthMongral@SifiReturned@goddek There’s a zero percent chance you’re reading original paleo Hebrew texts you dork.
You’re reading a product of modernity just like everyone else. You’re reading Aramaic and why that was changed isn’t even agreed upon.
Cmon do better
@Libertyonebx@DarthMongral@SifiReturned@goddek Not understanding doesn’t default you to victory. You’re just being ridiculous trying to win a fight that was already won 2026 years ago.
@Libertyonebx@GlenBradley@goddek If the servant simply is Israel, then explain 49:6 where the servant’s job is to restore Israel. Israel can’t be the one redeeming Israel
