Thank you all for an amazing Day 2 of #NAHROat90:Collaborate!
The day kicked off with a vibrant welcome from @NAHROPres. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee organized a creative way to visualize the future of affordable housing and gave hope to agency’s both small and large. NAHRO Faculty provided tips on how to find qualified candidates for expanding your staff, while our Policy team discussed best practices for commissioners when adapting to the everchanging shifts and challenges that PHA’s face. We wrapped things up with author Leah Rothstein who discussed redressing the wrongs of segregation, and ended on a high note with self-care and refocusing advice from @DrMarcieBeigel.
There was such an abundance of knowledge shared today, and we are happy that you were a part of celebrating our 90 years of being the leading housing and community development association that inspires the creation of strong and sustainable communities.
Let us continue our collaboration and commitment to bettering the future of affordable housing. Be sure to join us in New Orleans for another amazing gathering of housers, thought leaders, and industry experts!

Appalled by the racist and antisemitic flyers distributed in New Haven and Hamden targeting a @Yale student. We are glad that city officials in both communities and law enforcement are looking into this incident. https://t.co/6e7LMqO0eG
