What’s everyones favorite drill for surgery? We’re ideally looking for an angled, electric hand-piece. The one we have is no longer made 😔 #ephystwitter#scitwitter

I want to speak to faculty who feel hurt, blindsided, and angry about the #FairUCNow strike. Faculty are most immediately hurt by these strikes, and it can feel unfair especially for those who have spent their career trying to make grad ed better.
You are a senior post-doc and want to work with our lovely HexMaze? Radboud Excellence Fellowship calls are open (deadline 1.Nov.). Contact me if you would like to apply with me as host working at @GenzelLab

@BrandeisScience@NeuroSwatiG Postdocs who'd like to come speak @BrandeisU should apply for this year's Invited Postdoc Research Colloquium competition! https://t.co/nONgubXTQx
@PlexonAndrew @JRueckemann @BlakeP_Neuro@PlexonNeurosci Blake and I are trying to use OFS to curate mountainsort's automated cluster output, which splits liberally and has multiple noise clusters as well as part of its process. Good tetrodes import >26, even if actual cluster counts are lower.
@BlakeP_Neuro@rob_gk_munn@PlexonNeurosci @PlexonAndrew I like that people think they are real clusters, and not the automated clustering output (oops, did I say that out loud?)
Very excited to share my postdoc work @Nature on elucidating the role of neurotensin in guiding valence assignment in the amygdala, under the guidance of @kaymtye at @salkinstitute @HHMINEWS, and in collaboration with @praneethnamburi and @jakemolson

Not going to make a string of (X/20) clickbait posts. We simply did a comparison of theta, acceleration, and velocity. Velocity still carries the dominant effect on theta frequency. Check it out here: https://t.co/WknIeHOAVO
So stoked that my first postdoc paper is now out! A huge thanks to the co-authors and members of the Buzsaki lab for all their suggestions and help! Here’s a thread with small nuggets of inside information!
