News - Piper to take over as men's football operations manager
Jake Piper will succeed Shaun Gill as the menβs football operations manager in early 2023, after three years at New Zealand Football.
Marking two years @NZ_Football with (finally) delivering the Chatham Cup Final at Jerry Collins Stadium on Sunday. Looking forward to the domestic football season in 2022 - starting with the #NZNationalLeague in just over two weeks!
Not quite how I had pictured the end of the 2021 #NZNationalLeague looking but excited to kick-off the South Central Series this weekend with games live and free via @skysportnz NEXT. Good luck to everyone involved!
Want to win a signed Chris Wood shirt?
This weekend itβs #SuperSaturday where everyone across Aotearoa has a role to play to help get NZ vaccinated!
We want as many people to know about it as possible so everyone who RTs this will be entered into a draw to win a signed shirt!
Great to have the final 10 clubs confirmed and congrats to all involved on qualification into the #NZNationalLeague Championship! Also nice to have cup football back this weekend with the first #ChathamCup Semi-Final live tomorrow at 1pm via https://t.co/J4ELPajmTT

After much uncertainty, Covid-19 scares and even a couple of lockdowns the 59th and final game of the #ISPSHandaPrem season took place on Sunday in a fitting fixture to finish the era. Many thanks to everyone across the country who played their part.
Well said @paultemplecoach and congratulations to @TerryHobin for receiving the @NZ_Football Friends of Football Medal of Excellence last night, youβre certainly in good company on that list Terry!
Itβs @TerryHobin retirement celebration today. This guy is one of the most outstanding humans but also one of the best around in their field. People in Auckland & specifically the Northern region will owe him a few beers for his tireless work. Congratulations Terry, enjoy!
βοΈ New Zealand Football and @skysportnz have agreed a partnership to show all ISPS Handa Menβs and Womenβs Premiership games for the first time, with 75% of matches free for fans.

Fantastic to see more and more regional premier league club games being live streamed across NZ, including tonightβs #MCL20 matchup between @LHCAFC & @western_subs_fc, with over 250 people tuning in. Well done to all involved.
Check out the full Return to Training Guidelines now available via @NZ_Football. Further advice released next week related to competitions. Good to get the ball rolling again!
From League 2 action at Brisbane Road watching @leytonorientfc, to a Premier League match at London Stadium with @WestHam, before a final trip to the historic Hampden Park to check out Scotland v Russia in Euro Qualifiers. Three weeks in the UK didnβt disappoint!
