Odell Beckham Jr. reveals the real math on a $100,000,000 NFL contract:
• On paper → $100,000,000
• Actually guaranteed → $60,000,000
• After taxes → $12,000,000/yr
• Car, house for mom, living → $4,000,000/yr
• What’s left → $8,000,000/yr
• Five years. Then it’s over. Forever
“Can you make that last forever?”

Chris Gotterup has won four of his last 24 PGA TOUR starts, a run that began at last year's @ScottishOpen and includes last week's @JDClassic.
What kick-started his rapid rise?
"I feel like everyone's asked, what have I done differently and I don't think I've done much differently. If I knew, I would have done it a lot longer ago," Gotterup said Tuesday in Scotland.
The New Jersey native outdueled Rory McIlroy to win last year's Genesis Scottish Open, and his momentum has only accelerated from there. Gotterup entered that week at No. 168 on the Official World Golf Ranking. He's now seventh.
"Definitely been moments where I'm like, wow, this is kind of crazy," Gotterup said. "But at the end of the day, you either stand up to it or ... that's why this tournament last year was so big to me. I played in groups and played well and kind of faded away on the weekends but without that experience, I don't think I would have been able to stand up on the tee on Sunday and play well."
Gotterup was lightly recruited out of high school, playing most of his junior golf locally in the New York/New Jersey metro area. He remembers one rare occasion where he traveled to Texas for a tournament. It did not go well. "Shot a million and my dad was like, 'I wasted a bunch of money on this,'" Gotterup recalled Tuesday.
Across four years @RUMensGolf, he took strides both physically (losing 50 pounds) and mentally (from shooting 100 in an early qualifying round). He progressed in a fifth year @OU_MGolf and in a @KornFerryTour season before earning his TOUR card for 2024, where he won @MyrtleBeachCl as a rookie.
Then he triumphed at the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open for his second victory, and the floodgates opened.
"I think my whole career has been proving myself to myself," Gotterup said Tuesday. "I don't really care to prove myself to other people. I just think I know what I'm capable of and these last couple months/years have been rewarding, but also once you kind of get a taste of it, I think you want more and more."
