The #PrincessofWales competed in the #ThreePeaksChallenge-climbing the 3 highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales-Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowden. It��s generally done within 24 hours. The Princess competed for charity, secretly raising funds for Royal Marsden Cancer Center where she received her own treatment for the disease.
I’m sorry, but that is BADASS. To fight cancer, complete treatment and come back to climb the 3 highest peaks in the U.K. is incredible.
She completed the hiking legs solo, carrying her own gear. After hiking 23 miles (37 km) and a total elevation gain of 10,052 feet (3,064 meters) she was met at the finish line by her husband and 3 children. That’s amazing-she must feel so accomplished and strong. So proud of her. #PrinceofPrincessofWales #PrincessCatherine
