This is worth reading. Under the new schedule when BBC Radio Humberside shares with BBC Radio Lincolnshire, one of the stations will have pre-recorded news bulletins as there will only be one news bulletin producer. If a story breaks in one area at 2.55pm then …what happens?🤷

We just stopped BBC DG Tim Davie at picket. He faced challenging questions @BBCLondonNews & @BBCRadioLondon journalists who are striking over plans to replace many Local Radio shows with national ones. He said it’s to do more digital.
@NUJofficial says it’ll diminish local radio.
