UPDATE:
A Nairobi-bound bus passenger’s trip ended in handcuffs after detectives intercepted the vehicle at Taru and allegedly found him with 300 grammes of heroin worth about Sh1 million.

Police say Brian Tabu Owuor, who was seated at Seat 29, was carrying a brown bag containing four sachets of heroin and Sh95,000 in cash suspected to be proceeds of crime.

He is now in custody awaiting arraignment as investigators pursue the wider network behind the haul.
