I like traveling, nature, #sailing and studying/working. taking a PhD on #microplastics, and working on the use of
Virtual Reality for field course learning.
First biomonitoring study to show that #microplastics are present in human blood, mean of 1.6 microgram per mL. PET predominant. Need to dig into it more but this seems groundbreaking! congrats @DickVethaak and team! https://t.co/oRsnzIEenJ

Beskrivelse av situasjonen der en gravemaskin er utbrendt på Frøya som "minner om nyheter fra krig i Midtøsten" er ganske drøyt.

We need to put more pressure on industries and governments, reducing Co2 emissions.
Support from idividuals is vital, but we must not dig down in personal shame and personal responsibility, forgetting governmental action. #norealisticalternative#Co2#ClimateChangeIsReal
@C_HaWQ I have fasilitated groups, where I asked each student to sit down physically outside of their group for some few minutes during work, and reflect alone, upon how the group dynamic changed when they left the group. I think some of them learned something about their role that way...
Hvis du har vanskelig med å forstå hvorfor luftambulansetjenesten i Finnmark er så viktig. Dette er oversikten fra AMK en vinterdag i mars. S for stengt. K for kolonne.
@SETAC_plastics ...or maybe not cool for species praying on these worms, with avr. of ~250 MP particles/g ww.
...looking forward to more studies on chronic effects
@SETAC_plastics I can't say if the plastics found in the body of the worm are from the digestive channel or from the tissue itself. What is quite cool is that the microplastics seems to enrich substentionally in the tube compared to the sediments it is building it from (selective worms ;-) )
