Book Presentation to #COAS
Six authors presented their books to #GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS. The books covered a wide range of topics ranging from Geo-Politics to Wildlife and India’s Legacy, to Rich Military History.
Lieutenant Colonel JS Sodhi‘s (Retd) book, ‘China's War Clouds: The Great Chinese Checkmate’, explores China’s geography, history, politics and leadership, offering insights into current global challenges and strategies to counter China's influence while advocating for a rules-based international order.
‘Connecting Dots - A Macro Perspective on India's Unique Legacy,’ written by Lieutenant Colonel Sharat Nambiar is grounded in the "Spirit of Inquiry with a Scientific Temper" and provides a macro view of India's legacy.
'Storm Troopers at Outpost Bhatti,' recounts the experiences of Lieutenant Colonel Sada Peter (Retd), during the #KargilWar, focusing on the bravery and camaraderie of an #Artillery team at the Bhatti outpost under enemy observation.
Mr Haroon Imtiaz, a 20-year-old from Poonch, J&K presented his book 'The Forgotten Face of the Guardians of the Valley: Rashtriya Rifles, Indian Army' which highlights the humane efforts of the Rashtriya Rifles in Jammu and Kashmir, focusing on peace initiatives like "Operation Sadbhavna" and honouring the soldiers' sacrifices. 1/2
