apparently I'm a 68 year old sabrina carpenter stan I didnt know any of this about myself. I graduated college and started working full time so now I listen to way less music in general
@_FloWaccoe @magg0tgrrrl for adoption if the parents had proper help, but some would still because not all who give birth want to parent, a single mother dies in childbirth, older children are orphaned, or the parent's truly unfit. there is no fix all and either way those kids are still in the system Now
@_FloWaccoe @magg0tgrrrl surrogacy and adoption are both traumatic for the infant. being taken away from their birth mother, bio or not, is traumatic. adoption can come with more trauma as that child ages of course, but the effects can be mitigated with proper care. and yes, many infants would not be up
@guy_guinea@IsDiscordDown@discord I'm dyslexic and the font is genuinely much harder to read than the old one for dyslexic/visually impaired people, plus the font is noticeably different even if you dont have issues with reading so idfk how you cant tell
@itssamkollins i dont think people realize that even if an influencer pays someone else to do their work SOMEONE still has to do the work so influencers that don't or can't pay assistants/editors/etc still have to do all of that work
@bellumjustum dont know all of the genes or all of the information about them* not that we dont know any, but it's also likely there's nothing we could do to prevent it, bc unlike genes that cause a predisposition to autoimmune disease and are activated later in life, people are born with asd
@bellumjustum now, they know children with autism can have perfectly good grades and he most likely would have been evaluated. since we dont know which genes cause autism, we also have no way of knowing what if anything would increase or decrease the chance of a child being born with autism
