There's a *bunch* of dialogue hidden away in the 12.1.5 post-raid campaign, just prior to Lor'themar's speech.
Includes some surprisingly important bits like Solanar being the new leader of the Blood Knights, and the proper reactions from the other blood elf leaders.
It's far from a subtle detail in the 12.2 trailer, but I like that Xal'atath is consistently shown to use and discard her allies, and doesn't care at *all* about loyalty.
Even the Void itself is just a tool for what she wants, and I assume the Worldsoul itself will be too.
And by the end of 12.1, the resulting relationship between elves and trolls is that the antagonistic trolls are villainized and excised from the Amani, while the antagonistic elves are... their leaders.
The elves concede absolutely *nothing* in the process of forming peace.
I'm mostly going to be saving my critiques of 12.1 until it goes live, but overall, I think my thoughts are that it is a very poor story choice that is *told* very well.
The themes behind Zul'jan's story are extremely well-communicated, he's just... really not the best target.
@BoopN00dle@Portergauge Well Nightborne were aided by the Alliance and joined the Horde same with the Mag’har Orcs during the end of WoD only for them to join the Horde.
Talanji's voice sounds... not right? Maybe it's just been a while since Susan Wokoma did the voice.
I am glad at least that Zekhan is being portrayed as naive, and not 100% correct like Arator was in 12.0. I just hope we don't speedrun resolving this by the end of 12.1 as well.
Again, really glad that Vereesa and Lor'themar don't let up on this, them having their biased views of the Amani's grievances is good!
It's way better to have some people be like Liadrin and try to move past things, and some be like them and stick to their hatreds.
@Portergauge This is the conversation I’ve been dying to see. The Kaldorei Highborne finally talking with the Nightborne. The elves need to have some interesting conversations especially between the Shen’dralar and the Shal’dorei.
Here are the new Demon Hunter customisation options coming in Patch 12.0.5
Void Elves are receiving updated blindfold textures, and all Demon Hunters will have access to a new blue eye colour, along with a flameless variant for both green and blue eyes.
Praying that we get to finally see Giramar and Galadin all grown up in game with Vereesa's story in Midnight, it's the last chance Blizzard has before I can safely assume the game team has simply forgotten they exist lol
Okay so yeah the Haranir basically just... made up their whole purpose. Aln'hara/Azeroth wasn't even here anymore, they ruined everything in their rage, and then invented rules to create a measure of peace.
I like that they really aren't that important to much of anything lol
@BasketCh4s3@valestrus Xal’atath has never once outright lied. She’ll tell you a version of the truth but only in a way that makes sense from a certain perspective.
Sadly, Devourer Demon Hunters will launch today without having any Void-blue customizations.
It's strange to me that Blizz went through the trouble of recoloring EVERY single ability for this spec from Throw Glaive to your Glide wings, but we can't get eyes and tattoos to match?
